Party Meatballs (Cocktail Weenies)

2 (12-oz.) jars chili sauce or BBQ sauce

1 cup grape jelly

1. Put meatballs into slow cooker and pour chili sauce over all.

Crunch n' Munch Butter Toffee Pretzels

10 C. Regular Shaped Pretzels Salted

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/2 C. Butter

1/2 C. Sugar

1/2 C. Light Corn Syrup

1/2 C. Brown Sugar

1/4 tsp. Baking Soda

3 Tbsp. Butter Flavor

In a large baking pan that has been sprayed with a none stick spray pour pretzels and set aside.

In a sauce pan over low heat place corn syrup, sugars, salt, and butter mix well. When mixture is melted and starts to bubble lightly place lid on pan for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds remove lid and stir with a clean spoon.

This action will help prevent any sugar or salt crystals from getting back into the syrup mixture. Turn temperature down and let boil gently for five minutes. Stir frequently while cooking.

When mixture has cooked for 5 minutes remove from heat add baking soda and stir. Make sure all baking soda has been mixed through, the sugar will foam and this normal. Add butter flavoring and stir well.

Pour hot toffee mixture over pretzels. Stir making sure all pretzels are coated.

Place pretzels in a preheated oven at 225 degrees. Every 15 minutes stir pretzels to coat with toffee mixture. Cook these for 60 minutes. When finished baking remove from oven and pour on to a none stick service.

Plastic wrap works well and little mess to clean up.What are some quick and easy finger food recipes?

For tasty chips, try sweet potato instead of potato. They taste delicious and have a lower GI than potatoes. They're so tasty you might even prefer them to french fries.Experiment with different spices, herbs, such as rosemary, thymr,or cumin instead of paprika.Since you;re in a rush,I suggest u use paprika.

Bacon and Egg Slabs

Grease a rectangular oven dish and line with flaky pastry. (I use ready rolled)

Fry off trimmed and diced bacon and allow to cool on paper towels. Place in dish and make wells to drop 4 eggs in. Pierce the yolks and cover with another sheet of pastry. Pierce the pastry several times with a knife for steam vents. Brush with milk.

Bake in a 180C oven for 35-45 minutes until the pastry is golden.

Turn out and allow to cool a little then cut into 60mm x 25mm pieces.

If you do them today, they will just need reheated tomorrow. I wouldn't cut today, and I would cut so the pieces are the same size.

Depends on what size the pan is.

Good hot warm or cold with tomato sauce (ketchup)
I would say vegetable's because everyone love veggies. Or maybe pizza or salad. For dessert you could make a quick batch of cookies. You could put out snacks for people to eat while you are cooking dinner. Some snack ideas are: Olives,Crackers,Cheese,Pita bread and Chips and some dip for them. I hope i could help. Sorry if this doesn't work but hopefully it will.

Enjoy your Christmas
