What are some easy Indian food recipes?

I like Indian food (on the spicy side), but I'm not familiar with the recipes or spices. Is there a recipe I can cook at home, or should I stick with restaurants? What are some easy Indian food recipes?
Since you like spicy Indian food, you can try this recipe. It is extremely spicy!!! It is called Geera Pork. We Trindadians like our food spicy, so BE CAREFUL!!! HA HA HA!!! (In Trinidad, there is a strong influence of Indian cuisine.)

1 pound lean, boneless pork cut in 1 inch cubes

1 teaspoon of salt

half teaspoon of black pepper

2 to 3 tablespoons of minced green seasoning (or you can create your own marinade for the meat)

2 teaspoons of minced garlic

2 teaspoons of cilantro

2 teaspoons of pimento (the flesh and seeds also because the seeds of the pimento has the real flavour)

2 teaspoons of vegetable oil

1 to 2 teaspoon of curry powder

quarter cup of water

1 teaspoon of minced hot pepper (the hotter the better!!!)

1 to 2 teaspoons of geera (this is also called cumin, which are tiny seeds. It is also ground and is dark in colour with a distinct odour.)

METHOD OF PREPARTION

Season pork with salt, geen seasoning, black pepper, garlic, cilantro and pimento; allow to marinate four atleast four hours.

After meat has marinaded, heat oil in a pot; mix the curry powder with the water to form a paste. Add to hot oil CAREFULLY for about 3 minutes until thick.

Add pork and stir until coated with the curry powder.

Lower heat, cover and allow to simmer in its own juices for about 20-25 minutes or until almost cooked. It may be necessary to add about a half cup of water if the liquid has dried up within the pot to avoid burning.

Add remainder of ingredients and stir thoroughly. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until tender. What are some easy Indian food recipes?
