Cheap, ideal and no extra vitamins.
Here's what I feed my dogs...
Breakfast: Chicken neck.
Lunch: Diced chicken and diced liver (just weaning of some ground meat and bone to help them gain some weight)
Dinner: Chicken wing.
There is also BARF (Bones And Raw Food).
Ground meat, ground bones, ground vegetables, ground fruit, kefir and dog multivitamin supplement.
Those are the two methods of home made feeding I know and have used, Prey Model works best for us.
Just to clarify ALL meat is raw especially RMB (raw meaty bones) since any bone will splinter if it's cooked.
Research this properly before you decide.
I feed BARF and I feed from when they are puppies, however I do know where ALL my food comes from, its not full of growth hormones or pestisides and if you don't know the source of the food you are feeding, ie you buy at the supermarket or butchers then you will need to cook it to give a small pup as their immune systems are not yet developed enough to deal with some of these things.
You are aiming for strong bones and teeth and a balanced diet, so it depends on what it is you feed if you need to add vits and suppliments
