How can i make13 months old eat all by himself? any food recipes?

we are vegetarians. Can anybody give me recipes for his breakfast, lunch and dinner. How can i make13 months old eat all by himself? any food recipes?
13 month olds still need help with food. You can offer fingerfoods like Cherrios or pasta, small pieces of cooked vegetables, cheese, beans etc, but he will only manage to get a small amount of food into his mouth. An older person will still need to supplement with spoon feedings. How can i make13 months old eat all by himself? any food recipes?
I have 2 kids (now 16 and 11) they were eating salad as soon as they had teeth to chew and still love it. But even as vegetarians you needs to watch your proteins............really don't deny him some meat.......then again.....up your berry content, especially the dark berries and definately Blueberries. At this point I'd still be cooking all his vegi's (no SALT) and go for the one's you dont' like, ie, most folks don't care for brussels, eggplant, etc........may be difficult, but important when you are missing protiens.........also, don't skimp on potatoes, not just brown, there are many colors (including textures and nutrients) and the sweet ones...just as good.
fingerfoods
are eggs vegetarian? eggs and cheese! eggs and butter! eggs and something yummy...! hope this helps!

good luck!

oh and potatos too!
tn is right....finger foods...maybe for breakfast...whole grain toast...with an organic jam...sliced grapes...apples in bite size pieces......he'll need some protein....i'm not a vegetarian but they have tofu in all states(ie. soft, firm)...check the internet for recipes...be creative...when my guys were young i could always get them to eat yogurt...just think small food small hands...kids like to eat with their hands...good luck
Try this compant there are usually in babiesrus and walgreens it called Little Entree's they have lots of different finger foods and mini ravioli and lots of good stuff for a 13 month old to try.
We give our 13 month old apple sauce, bananas, cheerios, pancakes, and wheat bread for breakfast. Sometimes I do give him egg whites for protein. We just started with peanut butter and jelly sandwich's. test the peanut butter first to make sure he's not allergic. He eats string cheese. We bake fries, sweet/regular potatoes. he loves vegetables like broccoli, soft carrots, green beans, peas, and pinto beans because he can pick them up. I boil them without adding any salt/butter. Yesterday he tried a little salad/ no dressing. He didn't have any problems with it. Smashed potatoes would be a good food to get him using his spoon. Let him see you using your spoon and he'll try to mimic. I hope this helps and good luck.
We are vegetarian and my son is 12 months old. eats all these foods by finger feeding... breakfast is often (scrabbled egg ) cut up pancakes , pieces of whole wheat bread, baby yougurt, fruit, etc. Lunch/dinner...beans(black, pinto, etc) rice, pasta spirals cut in half, cheese pieces, tofu pieces, steamed veggies, he also like slots of spices, and eats most whatever we eat.
How about the baby foods in jars at the grocery stores?

Most babies like to play with their food as they learn to feed themselves. Start the baby's dinner before everyone else and let him play and eat at his leisure.

Maybe you are feeding him too much during the day (or too often) which makes him never hungry enough to put food in his own mouth by himself.
